I have some books on PHP. I see what we have to do now, since no one at whmcs thinks that this is important. Its like with wordpress. At 1st wordpress was only used by people who had something they wanted to say using wordpress blog format. But wordpress is now a powerhouse of plugins for all sorts of useful online business and projects. One particular use has gone wild. Because of the ability to subscribe users and block links for non-subscribers, the use of wordpress to distribute software by subscription has become popular. Something wordpress seems to not been originally intended for, while still retaining its original use. If the ability to use wordpress for that is lost, there would be A LOT OF VERY UNHAPPY PEOPLE proving just how valued the ability is, even though people may have never originally spoken up about it. Man... We sell vpn services and till this day we still have problems with customers who want to order some number less than 10 instead of 30 days. We have allot their days manually so their account will expire on a set date. Can believe this simple thing isn't provided for. Withe new trial feature in 4.x I thought we could work it by setting the trial to expire 1 day and they can order the quantity that they want. Nope! Any ideas?

Let me be the 1st to explain this: Do not right click and save/download the files... Does that will add a bunch of html code to the download/saved file. You have to left click the file and then copy/paste the contents to whatever file you'll be saving it to. One of the reasons I asked for a step by step. Bitcoin is one of the virtual currencies that is far more deserving to be included in whmcs than some of the other listed processors...

Well, for resellerclub, under settings> API, I've made sure that our whmcs installation's server IP is in the API list, and now I'm waiting for the 30 mins to elapse. We'll see if that fixes that. For the other problem, I'm being asked what port whmcs is calling out to virtualmin on to make sure its not blocked by the firewall. Anyone know the port/s?

Having the same problem. Was not until I upgraded to 4.5 Did you fix your problem, if so, how? We paid for a module to be developed for eeecurrency (eeecurrency.com). We've been using eeecurrency in combination with internetbs for years and it is a surprise to see that whmcs still has not made eeecurrency a resident module although it continues to add payment processor modules for younger, lesser known, more-fly-by-night systems. What, exactly, did you enter into the fields when setting up your freeradius module? You don't have to tell me your exact hostname, but can you tell me exactly what you put in your fiends so that we can duplicate them over here. Our module does not seem to be contacting the remote freeradius server. We know the server is operating because we have tested it both with radtest and with daloradius (which has build in test facilities to contact the freeradius server). While running the server with the -X parameter, we see the responses from these tests, but when attempting to get whmcs to contact the server, it fails with "Module Command Error - FreeRadius Database Query Error: " and I see absolutely no response from freeradius in debugging mode. when we run radtest sqltest testpwd localhost 1812 testing123, we see a response response. Here is what we have so far for whmcs: started the freeradius daemon in debugging mode ( -X) iptables off ----- whmcs freeradius server config IP Address: 67.xxx.xxx.xxx Username: root (same as used for daloradius with no problems) pw: xxxxxxxxxxxxx (same as used for daloradius with no problems) hash: radius (same as used for daloradius with no problems) Products/Services Module Setting Group Name: usergroup as long as the hostname is correct there should by a response showing in shell when running 'radiusd -X' , right? also, daloradius is on the same machine as the radius server. the whmcs installation is remote.

Darn We're long time users and was hoping this had changed. Our business model and style of service is alternative and progressive and we'd like whmcs to grow with us. Would be nice for our small business to not NEED a completely custom/inhouse solution until we pass through being a medium sized business, to a big business. hello everyone. is there a way to change the minimum billing period for products and services to less than monthly? can we have a user signup for a hosting account for 1 day, and then the account is suspended 1 day (24 hrs) later? if so, how? what do we edit? we have a need to automatically cancel a shared hosting account after a day (or when ever it usage is completed - less than 30 days) Thanks in advance

Hey Bora, I need whmcs to contact a 3rd party server and create a linux user account. Would this whmcs radius module be able to contact a remote server and create a new radius user once a user completes and order so that it can be used for authentication? NOH

It is strange... I personally have 8 associates who won't buy whmcs because of this, no matter how good I tell them that the other features are. 1 has already spent almost $9000.00 USD just for a hosting billing system with this ability. Of course, we're talking about internet innovators with money. Much of it made with internet businesses. Like me, they're stupid when it comes to programming, savvy when it comes to covering unfulfilled internet markets, so we don't get in to the "action hooks" thing. NOH

actually, it was down-right stupid of me. on the GOOD side, it appears we have major confidence in your programming on the not-so-GOOD side, I agree with you. (why does the forum blank out the word GOOD for me unless I post it capitalized?) that is why we are following your advise about using the trial. we completely ignored murphy's law - actually, it was me and there are some (admin) people over here not so happy with ME making extra work for them. live and learn.
