  1. Hello, I have been using the DirectI module for years now I thought I read somewhere the DirectI module is discontinued and you need to start using the ResellerClub module. However, I am still able to process domains through DirectI. Can anyone shed some light on this for me on what is the difference between the 2?
  2. It started yesterday and was on and off issue. Today I noticed becuase 2 domain renewals didn't get processed. I can't even login to the resellerclub.com/login page. Is anyone able to login to that site?
  3. Been several days I've noticed DirectI (ResellerClub) isn't working properly. When trying to access domain info page, I get the following error showing up. Registrar Error HTTP Error: cURL ERROR: 7: couldn't connect to host url: https://www.foundationapi.com:443/anacreon/servlet/APIv3 content_type: http_code: 0 header_size: 0 request_size: 0 filetime: -1 ssl_verify_result: 0 redirect_count: 0 total_time: 0.06231 namelookup_time: 0.006521 connect_time: 0 pretransfer_time: 0 size_upload: 0 size_download: 0 speed_download: 0 speed_upload: 0 download_content_length: -1 upload_content_length: -1 starttransfer_time: 0 redirect_time: 0 I have Enom also and don't run into this issue. Has anyone been having this issue?
  4. Why are you so in a rush for v4?? Would you rather Matt release a buggy product that causes all types of issues? Let's get serious here. This is a billing software and billing software is the front line of the business which needs to be handled and developed almost flawlessly. I rather wait until Matt is 110% certain the product is ready. I don't need to be installing it than finding out it over-bills or this and that screws customers accounts. If you want products that are released without vigorous testing than try Modernbill, Trust me it's no fun. Hold on to your pants, it will come soon. Besides, is v3 not holding it's weight or something?
  5. I have a question. When setting up the cPanel/WHM server in WHMCS. If I am using the username "root" and the "remote access hash" do I need to enter the password in the password box? Do you need all 3? ID, PW and hash?
  6. Because iPhone internet is slow and the mobile edition is much lighter and quicker to load.
  7. Hello, I'm considering moving from Kayako to WHMCS ticket system but after playing with it a little I have some questions regarding the ticketflow process. Firstly, there are more statuses than what Kaykao has which is Open, On-hold and Closed. I have some questions regarding the statuses: Open -- self explanatory (status once ticket is opened). Answered -- anyone know if this is really needed if you have "on-hold"? Customer-Reply -- i'm assuming this is the status when a customer replies if the ticket is at ANY status right? On Hold -- is this another duplicate of in progress? In Progress -- is this in sense the same meaning of being on-hold? Closed -- self explanatory So I guess my questions are regarding the Answered, On Hold and In Progress tickets. If you have a ticket in Answered, and the customer doesn't reply will it auto-close? If so after how long? Can anyone explain the real difference between onhold and in progress. I have looked and the documentation doesn't explain any really. If you can share your ticketflow process that would also be great to get some ideas.
  8. I have it setup as an Addon now but played with the automation part and didn't like that I had to create it as a whole seperate product line and such. I hope WHMCS can somehow allow the automation to be done via Addons vs. a seperate product. it whould be much nicer.
  9. I can also confirm about the $0 orders coming through. They seem to mostly happen if a customer goes back in the order process and than submits again I think. whatever the case there needs to be a system check to make sure there is actually something to order before proceeding.
  10. Hello, Since the new version, I saw that the "Closed" was added to the client status. My question is, what is the difference between Inactive and Closed? Does one have a different effect than the other? What would you set the client status if the client is canceled. I have been putting them under inactive?
  11. Authorize.Net hands down. Been using them since 1999.
  12. Well, I talked with DirectI and they said that you can pass that option with the API to not generate an invoice for the domain order. Because it keeps creating invoices within the DirectI control panel for my customer account of $12.95 for every domain.
  13. Ok, but how do I disable creation of invoices in DirectI? It keeps creating an invoice for $12.95 for the customer.
  14. Hello All, I created a DirectI account a few weeks ago as they are running the birthday bash with cheap domains. So far I have been very confused on how DirectI system works, its quite confusing and pissing me off now. I created my ResellerClub(DirectI) account, deposited $200 and created a "Customer" account with my info in it. I was able to register a bunch of domains fine. Today when I was trying to register a domain I got an error saying "payment partial paid"?? I calculated and I still have about $90 left in my account and DirectI confirmed. It appears that I have to add funds to my "customer" account. Also everytime I register a domain it keeps creating invoices for my customers for $12.95. I don't know why but after talking with DirectI they told me to disable the invoice generation for customer you need to pass the setting in the API. So, can someone tell me how we can fix this API issue so that invoices are not generated in DirectI system for my customer. Or am I just doing everything wrong?
  15. Hello, I see there is a new client status of "Closed". Would it now be preferable to set the client as "closed" vs. "inactive" after they cancel service? is there any difference in config between the 2 also?
