Thanks! I changed it and hopefully it will help. I dont have any other payment options yet, and we are live so I will have to wait to take the site offline/maintenance to do some further testing.

Thanks @brian! i have customized the look a bit, but only with CSS. and switching back to the default template or removing all the CSS dosnt change the issue. It was originally utf-8, and still is, but from that doc it sounded like i needed to change it.. the doc was a bit confusing to me so maybe I misunderstood. As for Cludflare.. that is not an issue.

I also get this when trying to pay directly from an invoice?? It happens on multiple browsers. see screenshot

I am using the Paypal basic setup, as the Paypal just isn't showing up in my cart..weird, it is activated! anyway, thats not the issue. When I go to checkout... it takes FOREVER. Like almost 45 seconds for the transaction to happen and then to be taken to the Paypal page. Any ideas?

Thanks @brian! I did find what i think is an answer in the first doc, the second one is not relevant as I never get as far as ordering. so there are no records in the logs. So, from what I gather from the first doc, I definitely have this in the cart header: Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8 and it seems I should have this: Content-Type: application/json But when i add that in at Setup > General Settings > Localisation tab it equates to this: Content-Type: text/html; charset=application/json So... i am not sure whats up. I called the host and they said this would need to be modified in the header file. Is that true? Does this really not work out of the box? I did finally duplicate a Cart template..si I can modify away if I need to without things being overwritten on future updates. If I switch to the Modern Template everything works... but as you said, this is a temporary fix. I really need this to work... and I am not sure what the next step is. Also, switching back to SIX as you suspected doesn't make it work. Thanks for any help here. I am ALMOST there with this new system!

Hi, I am getting an issue on a few different browsers. Whenever I check for a domain it just hangs.. se screenshot. I posted on this a few days ago, but the issue is persisting, and I kinda blew up that thread with other issues. So I am starting an ew thread to keep is focused. Thanks for any help/feedback, I am new to WHMCS. Feel free to test at: https://clientportal.uxmediahouse.com/cart.php?gid=1

@WHMCS ChrisD Thanks! I am only modifying with css and that is in my custom theme template. So, sounds like i am good to go.

I have almost all of my requirements setup accept for one: You are currently using a default template in the following locations: Cart I cant seem to find any documentation on how/where to modify this. Is this referring to the "Default Order Form Template" under "Ordering"? Do I need to make a copy of that and then modify? Thanks for any help!

Best place to install WHMCS for security
UXmedia replied to UXmedia's topic in Installation, Upgrade, and Import Support
Thanks everyone! I installed it on a separate package/cpanel completely. Its in a subdomain of the main site (but again, in a separate package/environment). That was quite a migration, but everything is working. -
Forget it! Must have been the system cache. jeesh!
-
Its almost like it cached the whole file.. or using another file altogether. if I delete all the css... and reload the page it still has the old styling from yesterday.

@brian! Quick question. I had no problem overriding the css with the custom.css file when I had the "modern template" in use. But now I have switched to the "standard cart" and any css targeted at that template does not take effect. My css still overrides the rest of the WHMCS...so thats great. But I cant seem to modify the "standard cart". I have duplicated the six template, and am working in the duplicated version so the custom.css is not overwritten on any future updates, i renamed the copy to "ux".

Thanks @brian! Ill redesign then... thanks for the heads up.

Ha! yes, now it is working! Weird! But... Fantastic!

We are UX Media House and we are using WHMCS for the first time. We have developed a lot of websites in the past and are excited to be reselling domains!

Hi, I am new the WHMCS and its a great system. But for the life of me I cant see a way to sell email accounts? We are not selling typical hosting, with a cpanel, etc. So I was hoping that there was a way to resell an email account(s) along with the domains we are selling. We are using Enom. Thanks for any insight!

Hi, I am not sure what is happening. After choosing hosting and then attempting to purchase a domain by clicking the "continue" button...the popup hangs and just stalls. if I go directly to the cart the item is added, but I am not automatically taken to the cart...as it just hangs and hangs... see screenshot: Any idea what is happening? I did change the theme back to Six, to see if it was some changes I made to my custom theme...but the issue still persists. I also checked in a few browsers..no luck. Try it for yourself here: http://uxmediahouse.com/billing/cart.php?a=add&pid=1 Thanks for any help!
