Whilst this is true, I am surprised that no-one has developed a Windows App to interface with the WHMCS Web interface or API as yet.

Virtuozzo Module (that works) finally!
hightekhosting replied to timgws's topic in Third Party Add-ons
Tim, I can't say we ever had any success in getting the module working and once we upgraded to V4.2, we had some issues, so we just removed it from our system. That said, I did wait on MSN for you a few times for help, but didn't see you. It wasn't life or death, so it kind of got pushed to the back of the line. We are not moving to the PVA solution yet, nor do I see us doing so for some time, so we're sticking with PIM/PVC for the moment. -
Virtuozzo Module (that works) finally!
hightekhosting replied to timgws's topic in Third Party Add-ons
So I take it that no-one is developing a WHMCS Virtuozzo module any longer? Should we now be putting the yards back onto WHMCS to consider this module as a feature of the next release? -
Will this module work if the TOS is stored outside the WHMCS directory? IE: In the root of the website Example: Our tos is at http://www.domain.com/policies/tos.php Our WHMCS is at: http://www.domain.com/whmcs/ Cheers.

Bandwidth & Disk Space Overuse Mailer
hightekhosting replied to Grizzlyware Josh's topic in Commercial Modules and Addons
Josh, Any update on my suggested features of customers being able to purchase additional disk space/bandwidth via the client area and have the module update these values on the server side? Cheers, Dale -
I find that your English is quite poor, making it quite difficult to understand you. It is therefore a suggestion that you: A) Please brush up a bit or use a language converter to assist you in making posts B) Lodge the appropriate support ticket with WHMCS Support if you are having a technical issue with Sub-Accounts I'm sorry, I don't mean to offend, but your english makes it very difficult for anyone here to offer any kind of support, as quite simply, your issues make absolutely no sense at all.

I'm not quite understanding the objective of this thread apart from finding out who has upgraded and who hasnt? Is there more to this than I'm seeing?

[RESOLVED] latest version check

This is normal until the WHMCS team update their update server version. Nothing to worry about. -
Quick question on prorata
hightekhosting replied to BullsoftHosting - Tom's topic in General Discussion
WHMCS will auto calculate the invoice price upon ordering according to the settings you applied to the product in question. -
What about it? It's still in BETA testing, so it will be released.....when its ready.
-
Has the order been processed, paid and activated? The next due date will update automatically once the pending order has been activated and the invoice attached to it paid.

I was going to say the same thing. There are heaps of people on the forums that develop WHMCS modules. Just checking the user contributions forum shows a great deal of developers.

Righto Josh (Mr Expert), Let's see you do this....! Your next mission, should you choose to accept it, is to add a feature whereas the customer can purchase additional disk space/data blocks online via the client area and have it modify their limits within the cPanel server they are on. This would give the customer the chance to add extra data and a pre-paid (lower cost) and save on excess usage charges whilst maintaining their current plan. Of course, you'd need to be able to provision a second part to this module to drop the limt back on the 1st of each month. This is most certainly possible, so let's see if A) You can do it/want to do it and B) how good your 17yo coding mind is Don't mind me, I'm a smartass! Dale -
Windows or Linux? Linux you could just write/build a cron to do a MySQL dump on a daily basis and then copy it to an offsite FTP server somewhere. Windows you could effectively do the same.
-
That exactly it's purpose....taking notes/making notes. The whole idea is to save time by wacking a quick note into WHMCS, be it a phone number, reminder about doing something with a server or customer account etc. It's just a software based scibble pad that isn't notepad!
-
If you are using a cPanel/Plesk server for your WHMCS install, why not just use the automated backup feature within the server to backup your entire account/site? Of course, you will need root/admin access for this.

Whilst I understand that, a log even in the clients account under their notes would be something we'd be interested in. Something that a tech could check their notes (or an additional tab) that shows their unblocks and their reason for being blocked and removal time) It would be good to keep a record of this for audit purposes as well as good record keeping.

Which error_log? We've got so many error logs on the server and checked most of them but nothing stands out. Does this module create its own error_log?
