Yes I'm happy for product prices in other currencies to update automatically based on the base price. My issue here is changes in the base price not reflecting in pre-existing clients' domain renewals. Given I thought we'd established this is the way it is, I didn't really see the relevance of the quote I mentioned in my previous quote. The PPC doesn't seem to have anything to do with this problem. I really don't see the rationale behind keeping existing clients on out-of-date domain pricing. I know some hosts keep clients on grandfathered hosting pricing, but have never heard of anyone doing the same on domain pricing. It looks like there's no alternative but to manually do a PPC update for every price of every TLD (and every time period too I think) - going to be a looooong job. I wonder if there's a way to approach it with MySQL queries. Kevin

Hi again, I have a follow up question. On the Bulk Pricing Updater page it says: I checked and I do indeed have the Product Prices Currency update setting activated. So what does that mean? Should I not be having this problem of customers still being charged out-of-date pricing on domains? Thanks, Kevin

Thanks for the quick reply. It looks pretty hideous but I'll dig into it - hopefully not as bad as all that. Kevin

I've found various threads here from people with this issue, and one thread where someone released a module to fix it, but that subsequently went dead apparently. But its been a long time since that so am hoping there is a better (official) fix now. The issue: After a change to a TLD registration price, the renewal prices in the accounts of existing domain owner-customers are not also adjusted. This means when their renewals roll around they are charged incorrectly. There was one post reply from a WHMCS staff member (WHMCS John) pointing to a blog post explaining it, but that link was to a broken version of this URL: https://blog.whmcs.com/insights.php/?t=44602 - which also goes nowhere now. That thread is here: https://forums.whmcs.com/showthread.php?74466-updating-all-TLD-prices-for-existing-customers Is there a solution to this? It seems like a major issue. Thanks, Kevin GM-Innovations

Hello, I have one client with a large number of domains registered - they have them all set to auto-renew, but are getting upset by all the Domain Renewal Notices. I need to turn them off for this customer. In their account I have already unchecked the 'domain' box in 'Email Notifications' for all their contacts, but they are still receiving some reminders. I don't know what else to try. I assume the domain checkbox is the one that controls the Domain Renewal Notices, and not the Product, or General ones for example. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for suggestion but it still doesn't work. The pricing just will not save. Whatever I set it to, if I save the pricing, then I go to currencies and do an update prices, it should update all the other currencies for the prices just set. But it doesnt - I then go back to domain pricing and open the pricing popup window again - and everything is back to 0.00. It should be the same as .co.uk (except different prices). But I have .co.uk setup and working fine. I set the 2 year price for register and renew, and set all other values to -1.00. Not working. I will keep trying to get Netearthone on live help. Maybe they can suggest something.

Thanks for the suggestion but it still isnt working for me. the options just don't show in the drop downs for domain options.

Hi, I have been trying for some time to get .com.au and .net.au options to show in the domain drop down fields. It just doesnt seem to save. I use NetEarthOne as a registrar, and prices are set at that end for .com.au and .net.au. I have selected the registrar for the domains in question in admin, and I can see them in the WHMCS domainpricing database table. When I go to set the pricing for them however, it seems like nothing happens. I know they are unusual (like .co.uk ones ) in that you can only buy 2 years at a time, and transfers are free. I am setting the prices accordingly. But they don't save. Can anyone please advise what I am missing? Thanks.

Client needs access to support tickets from multiple emails
gminnov replied to gminnov's topic in Using WHMCS
Crisis over - I have it working now. Thanks. -
Hello, We have a client who needs access to their support tickets from multiple contacts/emails. I have set them up with extra contacts and checked the option to give them access to view and open tickets. However, each contact only sees the tickets they have opened when they log in. Is there any way for multiple email addresses to have joint access to their support tickets? We are on version 4.5.2 (leased license so we don't have access to downloads for plugins etc). Thanks, Kevin

Hello, I am experiencing a problem with invoice dates on a client's account. The client has two services and wanted them invoiced together. I adjusted the dates, but only one of them invoiced. So I cancelled that invoice, and generated new invoices for both by checking the boxes on both products on his summary page and clicking on 'Invoicing Selected Items'. I looked at the invoice created and it included both items, but showed the dates were for Feb-Mar, instead on Jan-Feb. So I cancelled that invoice, checked that the 'Next Date Due' on both products is correct (Jan). Then I generated the invoice again, and this time the invoice says Mar-April. How do I get this back in to alignment? I would have thought that changing the 'Next Date Due' on a product would be what is required - but the invoice seems to ignore that. Which means not only does it have incorrect details in the Invoice, but possibly next month it will not invoice him because it will see his payment from this month and credit it towards Mar-April. Can anyone provide some guidance on this please? I sense I am missing something. Thanks.
