Bitter
Hello, I have been using WHMCS for a few months now, and I have had no troubles yet, but I noticed for the last few months or so, my invoices aren't being sent out to most of my clients. I have about 3 people who get their invoice every month. Everyone else does not receive anything. I manually went to each client in WHMCS and clicked to send invoices, and still nothing happened. I try changing the invoice date and nothing works. Any ideas? Thanks!
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 7, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 7, 2009 Is your cron job completing; do you receive the cron report email each day?
Bitter
I don't receive one each day, but I don't have one set up, I think.
Bitter
Sorry for the double post, but I really need this figured out soon because I can't afford to keep dealing with no invoices too long. I'm running out of possible fixes that I could think of on my own. Nothing is working.

Bitter
So my reseller host told me I should backup my WHMCS data and then install the latest WHMCS in order to fix this problem. I am using an old version. How can I backup my WHMCS data?

Bitter
I tried setting up a cron job via email, and I kept getting this email over and over: Can't locate ../config.cgi in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.6 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.7/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.6/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib64/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.7 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.6 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.5 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib64/perl5/5.8.8/x86_64-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8 .) at /home/fphosti/public_html/support/bin/waitnotice line 7.BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /home/fphosti/public_html/support/bin/waitnotice line 7.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 15, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 15, 2009 How does one setup a cron job via email? Surely you need to set it up in your server control panel?
Bitter
No you can choose to have a cron job backup download sent to an email address. I did that, and it didn't work. I also tried having it just put the backup so I can just get it through FTP, didn't work either.
Bitter
I just updated the crontab in cPanel. I had a different one before, for some reason. Hoping this one works.
Bitter
OK I got cron job working, and I upgraded WHMCS to the latest version, but it says my license key needs to be re-entered, so I enter it along with my user and pass, and then itdisplays a screen that says "you do not have permission to make this change" but I clearly should have permission. Any ideas?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 16, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 16, 2009 Oh I see, the automated backup via email, you didn't mention that Best open a support ticket and we can advise on the licence.
