freedombi
I was just looking at eNom SSL certificate prices, both logged in with a reseller account through WHMCS, and not logged in, and noticed that with one exception, the certificates are cheaper if I am not logged in. The prices I see for GeoTrust and SBS (logged in/not logged in) * GeoTrust RapidSSL: $9.95 / $12.95 * GeoTrust QuickSSL: $69.00 / $74.95 * GeoTrust QuickSSL Premium: $99.00 / $104.95 * GeoTrust True BusinessID: $114.00 / $124.95 * GeoTrust True BusinessID with EV: $399 / $179.95 * GeoTrust True BusinessID Wilcard: $499 / $539.95 * SBS Instant: $14.95 / $18.95 * SBS Secure: $59.00 / $64.95 * SBS Secure Plus: $89.00 / $95.95 * SBS EV: $399.00 / $429.95 * SBS SGC EV: $499.00 / $595.00 As you can see, with the sole exception of GeoTrust TrueBusinessID with EV, all of the certificates are more expensive for resellers. This seems backwards to me.
create
I was wondering the same thing - can someone please look into this and sort out the pricing for the resellers.
Daniel
Maybe it's supposed to be like that, WHMCS can set whatever price they like.
freedombi
I was thinking also that it's due to not needing a very large minimum deposit with enom, but I haven't been able to find info about this on enom's website. Does anyone else have any info about enom's reseller accounts? And if being a whmcs sub-reseller on enom means supporting whmcs, I have no problem with that.
mcraedesigns
Perhaps the others were raised to make up for this deal? * GeoTrust True BusinessID with EV: $399 / $179.95 I noticed the same thing
merlinpa1969
there is NO profit in ssl certs on Enom except for the EV I got this directly from Enom last week when I was forced to get an ssl from them
create
Maybe it's supposed to be like that, WHMCS can set whatever price they like. I don't have a problem if WHMCS need to increase the pricing BUT we do need to be notified of the increase in price.

scurrell
I dont have my Enom account through whmcs and i have the same issue..... We don't have ours through WHMCS either, but with the exception of RapidSSL ($0.55 more), all the SSL's are cheaper in our reseller account.
ninak
We don't have ours through WHMCS either, but with the exception of RapidSSL ($0.55 more), all the SSL's are cheaper in our reseller account. I went through this with another reseller account. The prices are based on the prices of your parent or initiating com. If you got your account through WHMCS then the originating prices are set by them and you have to be either higher or equal to the amount that they sell it for. Sometimes when the prices are put in by your initianting company they do go in backwards oroff kilter as I call it, but it is up to your initiating company to check them out.
JFSG
This is my theory. The cheaper prices gained from higher tiers (in this case, my guess is WHMCS is on the "Premier" tier) eNom provides are only valid for .com, .net, .org, .info, .name, .biz and .us domain names. Other products like SSL certificates are the same. WHMCS provides eNom accounts as a sub-reseller under their account with eNom. They can't sell at the same price as what you get directly from eNom since that's also their cost, not to mention the 3% deducted when topping up the account. However, some eNom resellers have lower pricing, probably due to the fact that they are older resellers or they have very large commitments (and contract) with eNom.
