0wnage
Hello, I recently purchased an unbranded owned license, and it removed all the branding except on the admin login page and the admin panel. I know most of you say you could care less, but usually when you buy a unbranded license for that much money, you usually expect it to be completely unbranded. I'm not sure if they just forgot to do this or if its a bug.
scurrell
They didn't forget, and it's not a bug.

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 16, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 16, 2009 The branded licence is described as: Powered by WHMCS link in the footer of your end-user client area Therefore the non-branding licence removes this. The copyright can be removed from the admin area by editing /admin/templates/*your active template*/footer.tpl, but not the admin login page.
niels
Security tips recommend moving /admin elsewhere which also means nobody, aside from your staff, will see the branding on the admin panel.

dkent
I also asked Matt with regards to the branded within the Admin area. I was upset to hear it is not possible to remove it and that there are no plans to introduce a way of removing it. Shame.
