Using Multiple Control Panels and Products and Services

This may not be the best place to ask this question but here goes. Before we was only using WHMCS with Plesk and had all the hosting packages setup for that one Plesk server module.

 

Now that we are going to use DirectAdmin as our only control panel from this point forward, should we create a copy of all the hosting products for that DirectAdmin server module and setup them up? Or is it possible to have one hosting products used for two server modules. I think you can have multiple servers under a server module and it will fill up one server then go to the next.

 

When we initially changed a few hosting products to use DirectAdmin server the login feature for the clients disappeared in the WHMCS client portal. So long as the server is specified some where on the product everything works.

 

So basically I am asking if you have more than more control panel how are you supporting it. Have the exact same product line for each server module or what? Any suggestions?

A product can only be assigned one server module. So you can either change your existing products to DA, or duplicate the existing ones and set them to DA. The former is what I would do personally.
