roop
Hi All, I've got a problem with OpenSRS on WHMCS v4.1.2. API Key + Valid IPs are confirmed, and I used the "Partially loaded page" fix at http://wiki.whmcs.com/OpenSRS to get the WHMCS theme/CSS to display after originally getting a plain white page with the domain details. Firewall is configured to allow OB connections to ports 55443 and 55000, and I can see the OB connection being initiated. When I go to a .com domain in WHMCS with OpenSRS set as the registrar, I get the following error: Registrar Error Authentication Error. For support regarding domain.com, please contact your reseller, MYCOMPANY.COM via the following: _My Company's OpenSRS Support and Whois Info_ Can anyone confirm if this info is coming from the API response and NOT a whois lookup? If so does it confirm my configuration is OK and that the problem is with (my account at?) OpenSRS? Many thanks, Rupert
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 9, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 9, 2009 That's the response from the OSRS API. Was the domain registered by WHMCS?
roop
No the domain wasn't registered by WHCMS, but when we manually added the domain into WHMCS we set the registrar during the import. Do you think the domain record in WHMCS is missing additional information it would need, and if so what/where can I find what is needed? Thanks, Rupert
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 9, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 9, 2009 OpenSRS is very unusual in that each domain has its own username and pass and just being the reseller that owns it is not enough to request info about it. The domain has to be registered by WHMCS for it to know the user/pass and be able to query for info and perform updates.
roop
Thanks John - that makes sense. I know what the usernames & passwords are for the domains, so how can I enter them for each OpenSRS domain in WHMCS to enable the integration to work?
