basic
Hello All: For those using MaxMind fraud screening ... I see WHMCS has a free offer for the "basic" version. Two questions: - In Your experience, is the free "basic" version sufficient, or does it take the "standard" version? - Is there any way to actually see the created reports from MaxMind ... I only notice this when I get a "fraud" tag -- but sometimes I would like to see the full report, e.g. if a prospective customers contacts us to say this is no fraud, etc. Thanks. basic
Just spend 10 minutes to find it -- but can't. I only see "View Orders" in the client area, nothing about "Details" there. Can you explain ... Frank

basic
Hi again: Does anyone here has an opinion regarding one of the two questions in the first post here: -- In Your experience, is the free "basic" version sufficient, or does it take the "standard" version? Thanks!
basic
Really nobody can tell me if they use the paid or the free version? John
niels
John, I used the free version for half an hour, then quickly turned it off. It cost me more in denied customers than it saved me charge-backs. That's not to say it's a bad product, I'm sure many users save themselves a lot of money, and should I setup a different business I'll certainly look at it again. My point is that you really need to carefully read how it works and configure it to match your customer profile. Just "flipping the switch" based on a fellow WHMCS users' opinion and expecting it to save you money is (imho) probably a bad idea.
basic
Thanks... but that does not answer what I want to know: To rephrase it a little: we use the paid version now, but I am just not sure what we miss (if anything at all?) when using just the free version instead. hideipvpn
We use free trial the same as paid for PayPal and Google checkout.
readywire
We're using the paid version. Personally, I think it's worth it. It takes some fine tuning to get it to work properly, but when it does, it works great.
