Log IP address in support tickets

I'm new to WHMCS so please excuse my ignorance.

 

Is it possible to log the ip address of a customer when they submit a support or sales ticket and have it show within the ticket itself?

If they submit the ticket via the client area, then I believe it does capture the IP and display it in the ticket.

scurrell, yes you are correct. It does capture the IP Address within the email notification but it does not display it in the ticket within the support area. It just displays the date and time at the top of each reply.

 

I'd like to see the ip address and host inserted into the text of their message within the support system so that my staff can see their ip address in case we need to block the them.
