sentryhosting
Hello, When I test my support desk, the ticket is piped fine into WHMCS but I dont receive an email confirming the ticket has been submitted. The option to disable this email is UNCHECKED. Any ideas on what else to check? Chris
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted October 10, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted October 10, 2009 The client confirmation email or the admin notification email?
sentryhosting
Sorry, the client does not get an email. I see in the admin that an email was sent to the user but they dont. And also becuase the email has been sent it appends the ticket to "Answered" which is slightly confusing. Chris
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted October 12, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted October 12, 2009 Is this a problem for all client? If it's just one it could be going into their spam folder.

DedicatedPros
If you are using SMTP mail, switch to PHP Mail, send the email again and see if you get it.

sentryhosting
"Prevent the user "nobody" from sending out mail to remote addresses (PHP and CGI scripts generally run as nobody if you are not using PHPSuexec and Suexec respectively.)" This is unchecked.
