mrwilson
I'm in the process of migrating to a new web server and new domain name. The new web server is online and running fine, I installed WHMCS on it and had it running. I then accessed my old web server and took a backup using the export tool in phpMyAdmin, then I used the import tool on the new web server and uploaded the sql file created by the backup. After that I changed the configuration.php file to match the encryption hash of the old web server, so the user passwords would still function. And then I edited SystemURL and SystemSSLURL to match my new domain. I'm not sure what I did wrong, or if this is just something in WHMCS...but whenever I visit the Portal Home or the Admin Login page, all I can see is a message saying: Down for Maintenance An upgrade is currently in progress... Please come back soon... It is in red text with a pink background and that's the only thing on the screen. And it also shows this for the admin page. I checked the database and MaintenanceMode is not set to 'on', but I don't think this is maintenance mode because that would still allow access to the admin section. I have a ticket open with WHMCS but if anyone has experience with this and is available to help quickly, could you please chime in? I am pretty good with this stuff so I shouldn't be all that difficult to help and deal with Thank you

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted October 8, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted October 8, 2009 That doesn't sounds like a good idea, you shouldn't have to change that. Did you empty the database on the new server before importing it?

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted November 17, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted November 17, 2009 It means the database version and the file version do not match. Ensure all the files uploaded and overwrote correctly.
