rangermoore
Hi, I have made some mods to whmcs version 4.0 and would like to upgrade to version 4.1 How would I do this without messing up the mods that were made to version 4.0, eg. client area, cart, portal style sheet, english.txt, as well as the integration that was done. I had hostgator try and do it but they could not do it. they messed everything up and I had them put it back to the 4.0 version. So now I am left on my own to get this done..Any ideas? Thanks in advance..
mylove4life
You will have to go thru line by line and see what was changed with the templates. If you look in the doc's it will list the changed files.

BAJI26
I just did mine... I used WinMerge to compare the tpls that were changed and all went smooth, there's only a few tpls that were updated!
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted October 1, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted October 1, 2009 Yeah WinMerge is my favourite. With our upgrade service, we will update your custom template keeping your header and footer templates but will overwrite any of the other templates which have changed.
