tommyinnn
I currently have 3 VPS and 1 reseller account set up... 2 are running Centova Cast, accounts are created and all works well the 3rd VPS is running WHM sonic, I offer free web hosting with my WHM sonic packages so I want WHMCS to create cpanel accounts, but I get this error Module Command Error (Curl Error) couldn't connect to host - code: 7 my reseller account (HostGator), I only use for web hosting, I get the same error my old script (iHost) created the accounts with no problem so I'm not sure what the problem could be Can't use the cpanel/WHM import tool either Googling the error says " This response means you have a firewall blocking the connection. The port being used depends on what module you are using but for cPanel it would be 2086/2087, Plesk 8443, DirectAdmin 2222, etc.." ... how would I check this in WHM ?? So I'm not really sure what that means, the fact there are 2 completely different servers and the fact that my old script did create cpanel accounts --- plus I couldn't really find a solution anywhere so I was hoping someone could help! Thanks in advanced! Love WHMCS - iHost doesn't even compare!!
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted September 17, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted September 17, 2009 You'll need to contact your server admin/hosting provider to check the server firewall settings for you.
tommyinnn
This is for a VPS so I am the server admin - please re-read my post, the part where I said --- "how would I check this in WHM ??" I'm asking how I would go about this - I have root access?? why would it work fine for all other scripts, I've used iHost and WHM Auto pilot in the past, have never had a problem.

Plus, the fact HostGator offers WHMCS to it's reseller customers (me) - seems like they would already have the settings correct
