pemso
I have this issue with all accounts. When you login to the client area (WHMCS), you can usually login to your cPanel without problem. But I cannot login with some user accounts although i have integrated to WHM with WHMCS with access hash. Even if I can login, the main domain displayed for the cPanel is my own reseller domain(resellerdomain.com:2082), not the client's domain. (clientdomain.com:2082). How can I login directly to clientdomain.com:2082 instead of resellerdomain.com:2082 from client area>my services>cPanel button??? I can login to my root cPanel from WHMCS admin without any problem. Is there any mods that I can refer to and integrate? Please help!
redrat
Is there any mods that I can refer to and integrate? Please help! Fortunately, you are in luck. sparky (AKA Steve) has a superb collection of WHMCS mods and fantastic support. The one you need for this job is Client Area Home Page which you can see here. It's great.
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted September 13, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted September 13, 2009 Do you allow clients to change the password via cPanel? If they've changed their password in cPanel then WHMCS will still contain the old password so the login will fail.
pemso
Dear John, I have disabled password change from cPanel for this purpose. but still have this question: when a client clicks on cPanel login button from client area>my services>Details, why does it have to be my "resellerdomain.com:2082"? It could be "clientdomain.com:2082". Clients can login from this area but there needs to be their own domain to have a sense of their belongingness and ownership. It also helps for clients to trust upon you not spying their cPanel accounts. if their see my resellerdomain.com:2082 to access their cPanel, they might suspect and develop some mistrust. is there any fix or settings that I can change? Please help me in this. THANK YOU
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted September 14, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted September 14, 2009 It uses the details you have entered in Setup > Servers, this way the login form will work before your clients have pointed their nameservers to you.
