DedicatedPros
That looks to me like a MySQL username/pass/database name error Did you mess around with those settings recently? Unless of course its what Gareth suggested

WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted August 31, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted August 31, 2009 This means the version of your files doesn't match the version of your database. You must have changed something recently, it can't happen by itself.
RMIGHTY1
This means the version of your files doesn't match the version of your database. You must have changed something recently, it can't happen by itself. NEVERMIND, I FOUND THE MOST RECENT DB BACKUP, TY ) John, I have the same problem after restoring to an earlier database. The database I thought was the same version as the v4.4.1 files but apparently not as I looked for version numbers in the db to change them. I changed v.4 in tbladmin to v.4.4.1 and v.3.4.1 to v.4.4.1 in tblconfiguration but still no success. Can you please tell me where to change the version number in the database to match the file version? Thank you!!! WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted December 30, 2010 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted December 30, 2010 Changing the version number won't work as the actual contents of the database still won't match what the php files are expecting. You need to run through the proper upgrade process to update your database as described @ http://wiki.whmcs.com/Upgrading
RMIGHTY1
Thank you John. I found a more recent backup of the db that I restored and it is now working just fine. Thank you again.
