GBP default but paypal showing dollars

Hi there, I'm setting up my trial copy of WHMCS and so far so good except I have a problem with currency. I only wish to sell in GBP as i'm setting up a local service.

I've set GBP as default in currencies by editing the USD entry there. all of my pricing is also set up as GBP. when I go through the process of buying a domain & hosting the invoice shows GBP and all is well until I click to pay, when it goes to paypal the figure is coming through as USD.

I've obviously missed something, so many thanks if anyone can advise.

Thanks for the reply,

I did notice that in the on-line documentation, however its not there as an option under paypal settings there. all I can see is is "Show on Order Form, Visible Name, PayPal Email, Force One Time Payments, Force Subscriptions, Modify Subscriptions, API Username, API Password, API Signature"

you must have only one Currency installed if so sorry I would not now how to sort this out then have you put a support ticket in to whmcs they will help you more.

"Convert To For Processing" will only show when you have 2 or more Currency's installed.

Brilliant THANK YOU!

I added USD, then went to the gateway options, as you said "convert for processing" appeared so I switched it to GBP and then deleted USD, bingo! its now sending it in sterling :)

Thanks again!

I'm afraid we wouldn't be able to answer your ticket on a trial licence. But indeed, the problem is caused by setting the "convert to for processing" setting, then editing or removing the currency involved.

But I'm glad our members were able to get you sorted :)
