CFulcrum
If I want to move my whmcs from the current directory to the root directory, can I ask WHMCS to do this for me? Is this a paid or free service? Is there an easy way to do this on my own?
BAJI26
Yes you can pay them but its soo simple they might pay u to do it for yourself. BACKUP! Transfer the files Edit the config with the new information Reissue your license in your whmcs.com/client/ (I think!)
CFulcrum
Are there any links to edit? Is the root where most people keep whmcs?
Blueberry3.14
Are there any links to edit? Is the root where most people keep whmcs? It doesn't change the functionality if it's in root as opposed to a directory. It really depends on how you have your website set up. While you're moving it, it's a good idea to change the name of the containing directory as well as the admin directory. There's a few threads in the forums about security measures that explain how and why. Just remember to reissue your license (in the WHMCS main site) after you've made these changes.
