dansgalaxy
Hi, Im going through all my accounts and noticed on old invoices where with certain products I put the direct cost of the product (eg if i buy it and am renting it direct from dc etc) as the "amount out" so for example I would take in £20 get x paypal fees and then put say £15 in the out amount, but it seems the out amount shows as money owed? am i missing something?
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted August 7, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted August 7, 2009 Amount owed is used for refunds, not costs. WHMCS doesn't account for costs apart from servers and PayPal transaction fees.
dansgalaxy
I just twigged that as I was looking at it, although i do think WHMCS should do it Why doesn't it though? I mean I just can't see a reason *not* to add better cost support, you have some great reporting features but they are all a bit redundant when they dont take any real consideration of costs in. could be as simple as adding a "cost" field to invoices, adding a "cost" field to the domains and packages, job done... Cheers, Dan
