No QAPI.TXT or QAPI.PHP file here either, checked in the installed directory. No shortcut.

Searched the HDD. Discovered it placed the QAPI.TXT file on my desktop, but off of the screen. Setting it to 'auto arrange' and refreshing the desktop made the QAPI.TXT file appear.

Thanks for this fantastic addon!

After installing the package, I uploaded "qapi.txt" from my desktop into my whmcs/includes folder and renamed it to "qapi.php".

Next I created a new "Administrator Role" called "API Users" and gave it only "API Access". Then of course I created a new user / password that was assigned to this role.

I then started up QWHMCS and edited the two addresses it asked for (I was pleased to find that it handles SSL for both URL's) as well as the API Username and Password.

I tried to save at this point figuring I'd come back to do the other options later, but every time I did it would give me an error message:

System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
  at QWHMCS.frmSetup.SimpleButton1_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)

I found out from clicking around that after fiddling with every setting, I was finally able to save the file and make the connection:idea:

One nice thing is that you can easily change the alert sound by replacing the wav file "C:\Program Files\QWHMCS\alarms.wav" to what suit you best.

Here are some minor things that would greatly enhance the application:

  1. The automatic polling for new responses only seems to poll the current tab you are in, so you have to tab through each status to retrieve new tickets.
  2. While the default sorting shows the newest ticket up top, once you sort by the date column again, it orders it by day number, not the month. (Due to the string being DD/MM/YYYY)
  3. Same in the Ticket Viewer, by default it shows the oldest response first, then once you sort it sorts by day number and not month.
  4. Currently can only close tickets (no other statuses)
  5. A way to pull in the predefined replies in WHMCS
  6. I thought the "Open Ticket" button in the top left was to open a new ticket, when it actually views the ticket you've selected in the list.
  7. A way to view all replies in a ticket as a thread on one screen, instead of having to click through each one.

Overall, this is a very good app, and definitely recommend it to everyone using WHMCS's ticket system.

2 days ago about this very demand has started to come. About the first landing in QWHMCS settings (settings.ini) can not save the file.

That the board file in the folder QWHMCS settings.ini try to change yourself manually.

These and similar questions a few days to publish the corrected case.

Where the alarm sounds QWHMCS the way you want change.

I could not understand. On appreciate that.

Thank you for your feedback. The error will be corrected in a short time.

Yes, there is currently only off tickets. In other action will be added in future releases. Orders are considered to be warned.

A way to pull in the predefined replies in WHMCS

If QWHMCS going to do it, it is necessary to use a database. Will use the answers did not previously been more of WHMCS. It probably is possible.

I thought the "Open Ticket" button in the top left was to open a new ticket, when it actually views the ticket you've selected in the list.

yes. :) "View Ticket" You can name it.

A way to view all replies in a ticket as a thread on one screen, instead of having to click through each one.

program has been designed by considering the logic grid. I do not think a view in the browser.

Overall, this is a very good app, and definitely recommend it to everyone using WHMCS's ticket system.

Thank you for all feedback and requests. A program will be on your way QWHMCS better.

I could not understand. On appreciate that.

For example, when you have the "Open Tickets" tab open, it does not check for new ticket responses inside of "Customer Reply" until you actually click "Customer Reply" tab.

Every time I try to use this, I get an error.

Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.

Object reference not set to an instant of an object.

If I click the details button, it shows me the following;

************** JIT Debugging **************

To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this

application or computer (machine.config) must have the

jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.

The application must also be compiled with debugging

enabled.

For example:

<configuration>

<system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />

</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception

will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer

rather than be handled by this dialog box.
