MMcC
I have followed the instruction for setting up WHMCS with Enom but I can't get it to work yet. I et WHMCS up for Enom and checked the test box, I set up the test account with Enom then I entered the IP of the domain name where where WHMCS is installed and running. Everything seems fine but when I try to check a domain name via whmcs it just sits for a few minutes then says "There was an error in your request" Am I supposed to contact Enom support to allow this to work for testing as well as live, or only when I am ready to go live? Thanks Michael
MMcC
I found my answer in another thread, port 43 was blocked on the server. It might not be a bad idea to mention making sure that port43 is open on the server as part of the registrar configuration. If it is mentioned somewhere then it needs to be easier to find.
