silentace
I am trying to allow the creation of a new product using the cpanel module. Is there a setting to allow unlimited for say ftp accounts or sub domains. If i put in 0 will that disable the feature? I have searched the forum and i can't find anything.
striddy
Edit your package in WHM. Put unlimited not 0 in ftp accounts, etc.
silentace
If i put unlimited in the product/service under whmcs... will it do it in whm when it creates a package?
goldenairways
I think you have to put the exact settings in WHMCS which you put in for WHM. So if you put "unlimited" in WHM for FTP accounts, in WHMCS you have to put "unlimited". But I am not certain as I am going by what I belive is right. If I am wrong please excuse me.
striddy
You only need the settings in your package in WHM. You can leave them blank in WHMCS.
easyhosting
some hosts wont allow you to use unlimited in WHM, so when an account is created it will no allow as you can only have numerics in WHM, so the easest option is just to use 999999999
silentace
Is there some kind of sandbox type way of running WHMCS? I am wanting to try my settings to make sure they communicate, also wanting to try my enom account as well... but i don't want to have to register a domain and pay for everything to test if it works. Is there a way around this?
TheSidewinder
silentace, if you create a Developer account at PayPal (developer.paypal.com), they have a Sandbox that the "Website Payments Pro" gateway within WHMCS will use, if you tick the "sandbox" check box within it. (More info on using PayPal's sandbox itself is at the above link.) For testing Domain registration, you can create a free account at sandbox.namecheap.com and use that to test Domain registration by ticking the "TestMode" checkbox in the Namecheap Domain Registrars module. I've done this and it works very well.
