sfortuna
Hey, I was a few version behind, and only had a few clients so I just did a fresh install and manually re-added clients. One of my clients uses paypal subscription to pay. Since I upgraded I added the subscription id to the products/services tab for that user - but the system doesn't know when I receive payments. What else has to be done to get back to where I was previously? And by that I mean WHMCS recognizing subscription payments from this user. Thanks
chickendippers
Hi, How many is a few? You could have upgraded straight from 3.6.2. Unless you've changed the URL of your installation, adding the subscription ID is all that should be necessary. Does it show up in Billing > Gateway Log?
sfortuna
I have the ID added. And it doesn't show up in Gateway Log Edit: I looked at one of my clients with a subscription working, and they don't have the subscription filled in. Am I putting it in the right spot? I'm looking under Clients - Client Name - Products/Services and then: Subscription ID Thanks Edited July 6, 2009 by sfortuna
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted July 7, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted July 7, 2009 Yeah that's the right spot, if they created the subscription through WHMCS then the subscription ID would be there.
sfortuna
Then this is odd. The client that has a working subscription has nothing there, yet the client I tried to manually add the subscription in does, but it doesn't pick up the payments. Odd
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted July 8, 2009 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted July 8, 2009 You can't manually add a subscription to WHMCS, there no way to modify it to tell PayPal to communicate with WHMCS.
