amex and sagepay direct problems

HI

 

We are using sagepay direct module and we have a problem with repeat billing Amex cards?

 

We are told you can do repeat billing on amex but amex tell our customers that there payments are failing because we are not submitting the security code on future payments?

 

Has anyone else found this problem?

Hi,

 

We had the same problem; after contacting sagepay and Amex, we eventually found that it was because sagepay had turned off continuous authority on the Amex merchant account. You might want to ask sagepay to double check this on your account (however be persistent as it took about 5 attempts to get them to check!).
