CURL error in enomsync script

Hi,

I have recently started to get this error message output from the "modules/registrars/enom/enomsync.php" script:

CURL Error: 60 - SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK

Anyone know what may be causing this? Is it a server configuration problem, or something on Enom's end?

The SSL certificate on the WHMCS server is valid and working.

WHMCS version is 3.8.2.

I got this last night too. I have not upgraded WHMCS. I think it might be something to do with the cURL installation on the server but not sure. Unfortunately, the php source is encoded so I can't pass on the cURL statement to my sysadmin.

I haven't touched anything on the server either. I believe Enom must have made some changes to their setup, their SSL certificate may be expired or something.

If anyone figure out a way to solve it, please post here.

Any comments from Matt?

This isn't a problem with eNom. I tested it and I cannot curl to any https page from my WHMCS server. I can curl https sites from another server. So the problem is with the curl installation on the server your script is running on.

Unfortunately enomsync.php is encoded so I cannot place a workaround in it to ignore the problem with the local cert bundle.
