SkGold
Does it work with WHMCS Version 4.0.1? I have several problems: 1. “By default the newsletter is opt in so all current clients will have to elect to receive it.” – this statement is not correct. After installation all users was unselected. 2. MAIN PROBLEM: This module dose not sends newsletter. I selected several users manually but I am getting the following error in Cron report: “No users have selected to receive a Newsletter” however I am sure that users have been selected as I did it manually. 3. Changing text in “Custom question to ask clients…” field doesn’t change the text in signup form and the client “Profile” section on both Front End and Admin area.

PrvtPilot
For some reason, the cron runs, says it sent to a specific user ID, but that user does not receive the email, nor is it listed in the admin in that users last 5 emails that it was sent either. Also, how do you make it so that the cron job email report is only sent to admin and not all support operators? I have a newletter admin setup, but for some reason every admin gets this report. The same thing is happening to me, was there ever a resolution to this problem? Thanks, Dean

HoundHosting
Hi does anyone know how to remove this totally? it seems you should be able to uninstall it by deleting the modules/admin/newsletter/ directory. But it still lives the option for people to join.. I would liek to remove the whole thing Terry

Stream101
hello. does this work with the new version of whmcs? I would not recommend using it as it has been quite some time since a release has been provided, and I do not believe the OP is active anymore.
Dano
I would not recommend using it as it has been quite some time since a release has been provided, and I do not believe the OP is active anymore. If it helps in any way, we are currently using version Version 1.2 under WHMCS version 4.2.1 and it works great.

gmorales
Same here - trying to test it, but no email is sent. I setup the cron for an email every minute to myself only (for test) and received nothing. It simply does not seem to wrok. Sad as the idea of having this newsletter feature is really nice. If anyone has an idea, I would be glad to make it work. My WHMCS is 4.2.1

adeska
Hello, nice Addon. Is it possible that the checkbox is always checked für the newsletter. And how can I select all existing customer to recieve the newsletter? I`ve about 500 customer, checking any customer by me is a little bit difficult. Is there a update available in the future. I hope you can understand my school english. Best regards, Dirk
