Maxmind Error = MAX_REQUESTS_REACHED

Recommended Posts

Did a search of the forums first and found this thread:

http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=3500&highlight=MAX_REQUESTS_REACHED

which seems to be out of date now.

Not getting any reply as yet (24 hours+) from maxmind regarding it.

Some facts:

1) The maxmind module has been working without issue for years

2) Nothing has changed on this side

3) We have 1000 queries per month as WHMCS customers (don't we)?

4) We don't do anywhere close to that - I've checked and downloaded MM's own CSV files on my account

Anyone have any ideas or come across this before? (apart from the link above to the out of date forum post which links to a now non-existent support doc) :-(

Just to update this. MM just replied with this:

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. It looks like there was a

bug in our system preventing your queries from renewing. We've fixed

the bug and reset your account, so you now have 1000 basic minFraud

queries on your account and they will renew at the beginning of each

month.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused you.

I had signed up with telesign and had approval, and lodged some funds with them just before MM replied.

Hope it helps others who might come across the issue.
