Hello all. My name is Chris and I am new here. I have been hosting for over three years now and am finally upgrading to a new host. The host I am using is Host Gator and I have acquired a license to WHMCS. I am very pleased with the program although I have a few issues that I need resolved immediately as I am losing money with this program being down. Let me go through what I did to install and tell you what the issue that I am having is.

I got the license through a package deal that Host Gator offers to resellers on their site. I downloaded the file from your site and installed it per the install instructions in the README.txt file to the "T". I have these two crons running every hour.

php -q /home/mancon/public_html/client_area/admin/cron.php

| php -q /home/mancon/public_html/client_area/pipe/pipe.php

I have added a server with the server info given to me from the host. I have created Three hosting accounts with misc. setting per their demands which are set to run with cpanel. I also for now have one hidden category that is hidden as the hosting packages in it is free and for business partners only. Here is the issue.

I went to create a client and did this with no issues. Then I went to add the client to the free hosting package as he is one of my business partners. Everything went fine accept for the fact that when I did it only sent two emails. One was a welcome with the client area login which is for sending trouble tickets and the other was an order confirmation even though when an account is accepted it is set up to send the welcome hosting email which sends the cpanel login and all that.

So I removed his hosting package and made the free hosting group un hidden so that I could create his order from the front end. This allowed me to view it in the admin area but this time it gave me the option to check the welcome hosting email box again along with and other email message. Both were already checked so I clicked accept order and it gave me this error;

Module Command Error

Sorry, unable to use Package Internal Hosting. Verify that the Package exists and that you have not exceeded your reseller restrictions.

I am not sure what that means but I know that its not letting me do anything and it sucks.

I need two things at this point.

1. The Welcome hosting email to be sent when orders are accepted

manually or automatically.

2. That error to never show up again.

Please help me get this up. If you know what the issue is and you are an admin I have AIM, YAHOO, XFIRE and Skype that you can communicate with me on to get this resolved faster as well as I can give admins here access to the WHMCS admin so that they can trouble shoot the issue. I may have just gotten this set up the other day but it is imperative I get it up and running.

Thanks

cron.php should only be run once a day, not hourly.

Have you created the Internal Hosting "Package" in WHM? It needs to be present there, WHMCS doesn't create the packages for you.

So WHM and WHMCS work collectively? Im not using WHM. I am only using WHMCS. I guess what I am saying is that what you are saying isn't specific enough for me to understand. I was informed that WHMCS was its own entity and that it had nothing to do with WHM as you can set up products and services with WHMCS and control what module they get. Like cPanle for example.

Please be more specific so I can understand what you are saying. Also let me know if you are interested in talking on a instant messenger.

He is basically saying, make sure your WHMCS packages match that of your control panel packages.

So WHM and WHMCS packages need to be the same? But there are extended categories in WHMCS. So you are saying as long as the categories that are the same in both WHM and WHMCS match along with the package name.

If you're using a reseller's access to set up accounts, you need to have package names that match, including the Cpanel username, IE: "username_gold" where "username is the actual reseller account's username.

While using root access to provision accounts, you can set up accounts "on the fly" without matching packages in WHM, as I understand it (I personally use reseller access to set up accounts).

Ok all seems to work well except for one thing. Like I stated before I have a hidden package in the back end that is for business partners. Its a free package. I have to manually accept the order on the back end.

When I go to the back end to check orders and I see the one that my business partner put through it has The Welcome Hosting Email checked. But when I click accept and it goes through he only gets two emails. An order confirmation and one that welcomes him to the client area. Why wont it send the Welcome Hosting Email with the cPanel login info and all that?

Get back to me asap
