I Heart WHMCS

I've tried so many other billing systems before WHMCS. Just about everything you can think of! I'm really, really pleased with WHMCS. I especially love how easy it is to customize, especially the email templates. I love being able to add my own custom templates. Matt has also been great at providing responsive, above-and-beyond support when I've had trouble.

While I've encountered some quirks here and there, my only major frustration with the software has been that it won't allow you to set up PayPal subscriptions for domain registrations. This is a huge pain for many of my customers who have multiple domains, most of which sign up for annual hosting. Their web hosting account gets automatically billed each year but the domain registrations don't, thus making them have to log in for each one every time the domain is up for renewal (if you have a lot of domains, that's a lot of time and hassle for the customer). I know I could go the merchant account route, but would rather stick with PayPal. I *really* hope to see this option added in the next upgrade. I'd then be in heaven! And so would our customers.

Hi Sexy (not you redrat) lol. I agree, WHMCS is a wonderful piece of quality software. There are many of us who thinks it doesn't get the recognition it deserves. I'm sitting tight waiting for version 4.0, a major version update. Comes along with Multi-Currency and Client Grouping! :D

I would be lost without WHMCS. No wonder everyone is moving to WHMCS from crappy ClientExec and the rest. I heart WHMCS too! (how very emo) lol.

Hi

WHMCS will automatically invoice your clients when i domain is due for renewal, so your clients will always be told to pay the invoice. No where online will ever give subscriptions for domains as their are far too many variables to registering/renewing domains such as forwarding services ,ID protections, DNS settings, etc, which all need to be checked and sometimes changed, so it would be impossible to have domaind set to subscription payments.
