rldev
I am looking for some advice as to how you sell SSL certificates through WHMCS. I'm not interested in the automated option now offered for several reasons. So my question is as follows: Do you sell it as a product? A Addon? or a Configurable Option?
apollo1
I use the new SSL enom module, but I haven't fully set it up. I like it because it makes it a little easier to introduce SSL certs to your product line and does offer some form of automation.
chickendippers
We used to have it set up as an addon, which worked fine.
Zorro67
We have them set up both as addons and as products, non automated at this stage. We have access to an API through DistributeIT, but the actual process is beyond the skills of most of our target market, so we include an installation service in the price.

Why do you have them setup as both?
wise
Why do you have them setup as both? so you can sell just a cert or sell it as an addon when you buy another product ..
rldev
I got you. Do you set them up on a billing cycle or a one time fee?
mm1250
I have it setup as an Addon now but played with the automation part and didn't like that I had to create it as a whole seperate product line and such. I hope WHMCS can somehow allow the automation to be done via Addons vs. a seperate product. it whould be much nicer.
