uberhost
Hi Vijay, Be sure to go into your admin panel and check the box next to "Allow Client Registration - Tick this box to allow registration without ordering any products/services". This is found under the Configuration menu on the Other tab.

vj135
I had already done that. But when someone clicks on the "affiliate icon" there is no new registration link there. regards vj

uberhost
Here's the way it works, as I understand it (Matt/Joe correct me if wrong): For existing customers without an affiliate account, they can log into via the affiliates link to activate. For non-customers, they have to register for an account--no purchase necessary if you have that enabled as I posted before. Once registered, non-customers can then activate their affiliate account the same way as existing customers. So, what you're missing is a link to register an account. I can help you with this, but one day you better order a dedicated server from me!

huggys
I was wondering if this was ever solved? I need a link for people to register for an account so that they can become an affiliate. Thanks!
mcpacific
Is there a way to bypass the extra step of activating the affiliate account? In other words, have the register.php file automatically register them as an affiliate?
