neobug103
Mmmh, well it makes sense, doesn't it?
isdoo
indeed, never said it didn't - however some folks may not see the announcement and only run PHP4 on their server.
neobug103
I don't think it would matter to them. If they haven't upgraded to php5 yet I highly doubt that they would even think about upgrading kayako.
SilverNodashi
IINM, PHP4 has been discontinued a while ago already, before Kayako has decided not to support it anymore
Chrisw
Not sure I would say "discontinued" yet. It's EOL, but still will have security updates until December of this year. So yeah, why not start the switch over now
SilverNodashi
EOL, discontinued, it boils down to the same thing really.... http://www.php.net/downloads.php#v4 - according to PHP.net,it's discontinued

So yeah, why not start the switch over now Actually, it was "discontinued" on December 31st. They only offer security updates till 2008-08-08 (August 8th). We offer php4 as a legacy option for our clients and all .php files are handled by php5 by default.
