LeMarque
My question has to do with the checkout process where I have both PayPal and Quantum. Many people are familiar with Paypal, but Quantum? My thoughts are that I will need to include some sort of text and logo on the checkout page that lets clients know what Quantum is. My experience, lets take Amazon and assume they are using Authnet or the like, they don't mention the gateway. It's just chose your payment method, VISA, MC, Amex and click. Wondering if anyone has customized the checkout page in some such way? //edit Also forgot to ask about the 3d Secure button that appears 'after' the client has clicked the submit button. I sorta understand that 3d secure is a Visa/MC security implementation of some sort; but why the button after the client clicks to submit? Confuses me...
chickendippers
Take a look at my checkout page, we display the card logos next to the gateway name.
LeMarque
Very nicely done. I almost went thru the entire process to see if your gateway also displays the 3D button; which again, I'm not understanding it's purpose.
chickendippers
WorldPay automatically redirects our customers to the 3D secure page after they've entered their payment details
Redundant
3D button; which again, I'm not understanding it's purpose. You're right, its confusing. I am hunting around for what the 3D Secure button is all about too. Anyone have a tip on removing/styling it in a way that is more informative? I have been unable to locate the button itself...something Quantum passes back to WHMCS which then displays it? Thank ya
LeMarque
I ended up using CDG Commerce logos w/ the verified by Visa logo. I forget where, but I also changed the choice from Quantum to 'pay by CC' or some such thing. I guess a support ticket to CDG might answere the question about the 3D button.
ffeingol
When you are in "payment gateways" you can simply change the "Name" item. We just changed "Quantum Gateway" to "Credit Card".
Damainman
anyone resolved the issue with the 3d secure button?
R-n-R
When you are in "payment gateways" you can simply change the "Name" item. We just changed "Quantum Gateway" to "Credit Card". This is exactly what we did, change the name Authorize.net to "VISA/MC/Discover/AMEX" Solves the issue.
MACscr
I just name it Credit Card. Its really that simple. if you actually named it quantum, thats your own fault and of course clients would be confused. =P
MikeDVB
We've named our CreditCard gateway "Credit Card" - the client isn't really going to care which gateway you use in most cases and if they do really want to know they can always ask.
