License Key where to download from???

Recommended Posts

I need some assistance here.

I had the trial version and it has expired...

I purchased a license and can see my new details when I am logged into control panel.

I can download entire whm files, (but I don't need to, do I? I already have it installed.)

I jsut need to update the license key, and I can't find it anywhere.

I can see the key and it says it has been reissued, but that is it. I can't download it.

Please help as this is very urgent.

Thanks

I may be wrong, but I believe you just edit your configuration file with the new Licence Key.

Thanks, but this is what is in my .PEM file

Hi,

I think you're getting confused here. That looks like the key for an SSL certificate. What xxkylexx was saying you need to do is edit the configuration.php file inside your WHMCS directory and enter your new license key. If your trial has expired, when you visit the admin area you should be shown an expired license message and from here you can enter your new license key and your WHMCS system will begin working again.

I updated the configuration.php file with the new key and this is what I get:

Warning: session_start() [function.session-start]: Cannot send session cache limiter - headers already sent (output started at /home/specialt/public_html/ClientManager/configuration.php:59) in /home/specialt/public_html/ClientManager/dbconnect.php on line 5

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/specialt/public_html/ClientManager/configuration.php:59) in /home/specialt/public_html/ClientManager/order.php on line 95

this is my config file:

[[REMOVED]]

Thanks

Hi,

Just removed the config file you pasted for security reasons as it contained your database password. You need to change the product id on this line:

$productid="9";

to

$productid="2";

Any furthur issues, just open a ticket.

Regards,

Matt

You need to upgrade to the latest version. If the issue still persists after that then I can troubleshoot the issue.

Matt,

I updated all the files for the upgrade.

I tried to update the database via phpmyadmin, but I get the probably too large file error. Now everthing is a mess..

Please help
