Are Addons or Config. Options "automated"?

Matt is right, it can't be done with cPanel's API yet but it is possible to use the old method using /scripts/saveedituser function.

This is not a preferred method that cPanel wants anyone to use any more but none the less it will work.

I won't post the details here on how it works for that reason and because it could easily stuff up the user account in WHM if someone doesn't know what they are doing.

It must be coded properly for it to work (preferably using CURL or fopen).

I might ask Matt for a little help on this when I get a chance as I believe it will require modifying the cpanel server module and possibly the cart script.

Matt: You probably already know about this but if not I can pass this info on to you if you like as I am fairly busy with other projects at the moment. It actually may be better to wait for the proper API function to become available.

It's been over a year but yes, I am dusting off this old thread :)

From what I can see, Cpanel does now have and API function with the ability to edit an account's disk space quota, so one could have the ability to ADD on disk space for a client's hosting account. So, does WHMCS v4.1 now have the ability to automatically provision and bill for added on disk space?
