Thank you Brian, I'll check that out and give it a shot (I'm not a coder but I can follow examples for the most part )

Hello, I was under the impression that by NOT entering anything into the disallowed subdomain prefixes (under products setup / other) that this would automatically mean that the ability to order a product using a subdomain would be disabled... But this is not the case. I do not want to allow anyone to order a product using a subdomain name, so what do I need to do to remove/disable this ability?? Thank you in advance!

All set, addressed via support ticket

Hello, I'm getting ready to move my install to a different server and had the current install copied over to the new box for testing purposes (used host file to test, etc), and I reissued the license so I could test the admin area just to make sure everything was working fine. I'm done testing and need to reissue the license again so I can access it until the final "migration" is scheduled, but the reissue option isn't available now and the client area is displaying the IP that it will have, not the one it should have for now. Hope that makes sense. Anyway, is there a set limit on how often or how much time between reissues? Thank you Terri

THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!! I tried it on the test I set up and yes, it did work. I can't thank you enough!!! Going to apply it to my non-test addresses now and do one more check. You have no idea how much stress you just relieved me of. Terri

I am having the same issue: This message was created automatically by mail delivery software. A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed: pipe to |/home/mydir/public_html/mydir/pipe/pipe.php generated by terri@myaddress.net local delivery failed This is driving me crazy, but it started happening a few days ago and I didn't realize it until this morning (I don't get a lot of support requests so thought nothing of not seeing any new tickets for a few days). But from what I can tell, new tickets were submitted and I have not gotten any of them since my WHMCS upgrade last week. I don't know which direction to go... the company I get my server from will tell me its a WHMCS issue, and WHMCS says the piping has not changed. Well, SOMETHING changed the day my WHMCS was upgraded, and if cpanel changed that same day it would be an interesting coincidence though I have my whm set NOT to update my cpanel automatically.... I need this corrected asap, I can't take this circle of stress.

Existing Client area after upgrade missing link
ihostct replied to ihostct's topic in General Discussion
Thank you, but I am not using the default client area. I am using what is now known as the classic template (default from version 3.8.1). I do not know if the default in the version previous to v5 was similar to my 3.8.1 version, but since v5 was backwards compatible to v3.0 I don't think this should have been an issue. I would be happy to make an edit to the template to get the needed link back, but I am not sure what code I would need or where it should go. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance! Terri -
My upgrade was done earlier today (thank you!) and I am happy with the new version so far, however I wanted to keep my existing client area as-is. The problem is that there is no longer a link anywhere for clients to update their credit card information. I've looked EVERYWHERE and the link has disappeared. Before, clients would select "My Details", then would will see a row of links along the top that says: My Details | Manage Contacts | Add New Contact | Change Credit Card Details | Change Password Now it says: My Details | Contacts/Sub-Accounts | Add New Contact | Change Password What do I need to do to add the "change credit card details" option back in? Thank you Terri

It's been over a year but yes, I am dusting off this old thread http://twiki.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/AllDocumentation/AutomationIntegration/EditQuota From what I can see, Cpanel does now have and API function with the ability to edit an account's disk space quota, so one could have the ability to ADD on disk space for a client's hosting account. So, does WHMCS v4.1 now have the ability to automatically provision and bill for added on disk space?

Hello, I see the "Allow BW Overselling" option in the Products/Services Cpanel module settings, but I'm not quite sure what this means... Is this so if the client goes over their bandwidth quota, you can charge them for it? If so, where do you set your bandwidth overage pricing? Thank you in advance!
-
YES!! My point exactly!! So why can't it handle adding on a disk space upgrade, or a bandwidth upgrade, or additional email accounts automatically? If only someone would listen and understand...
-
Yes, a reply would be welcomed just to note, it is my opinion that billing software should not control the way you handle your business. It would be really nice if this was an optional feature for those of us who DO need to have it.

I've changed all the clients (hosting accounts, server accounts, added services, unpaid invoices, canceled invoices, etc) to the new processor but WHMCS still won't allow me to deactivate the old one, complaining about not being able to deactivate a processor that is in use. The only place I see the old processor noted now is on already paid invoices. I can't see why one would want to or need to change the processor on an invoice already marked as paid or canceled ... is this a bug? Or do I really need to change all of those as well? If so this could make for lots of records confusion if I ever need to go back and review something.

I'm trying to change my card processor from Authorize.net to BluePay. I have BluePay set up and working, no problem there, but WHMSC (3.6.0) does't allow me to disable the Authorize.net gateway because there are upcoming unpaid invoices that it is set for. I do not want these to go through Authorize.net. What do I need to do to change all the upcoming payments to the new processor? Just to note, in the gateway set up I did try to rename the Authorize.net gateway name to something different, but all that did was change it in all of the unpaid invoices as well. Do I need to edit all of these invoices manually?
