ihostct
I have my WHMCS set up on it's own VPS and have an SSL cert installed for the domain name that I am using for my WHMCS installation. (purchased without the www, so it's https://whatevermydomain.com In the General configuration I have set the secure access to https://whatevermydomain.com/directoryname/ There is no problem when I access the admin area via SSL, however, when I try to login to a client account I access: https://whatevermydomain.com/directoryname/ but the url changes to this: http://whatevermydomain.com/directoryname/index.php?display_errors=&debug_output=&mysql_errors= I don't get it, Is there a setting that I am missing?
JasonO
What do you have set as the SSL address in the General Configuration of WHMCS?
ihostct
Hi Jason, As in my post above, in the General configuration I have set the secure access to: https://whatevermydomain.com/directoryname/ (Of course, I do have my real domain name and directory in there)
ihostct
Has anyone seen this before, or have any idea where the problem might be?
WHMCS Developer WHMCS Andrew Posted February 28, 2008 WHMCS Developer Share Posted February 28, 2008 Hi, The client area is only SSL on the areas that have sensitive info or require input to save on system resource.
ihostct
Ahh! Ok, so I shouldn't have my clients access the main page via SSL, SSL is on an as needed basis. (phew) Thank you very much for clearing that up! I was pulling my hair out trying to find where I might have made an error (especially after half of my conf file went MIA). Greatly appreciated, Terri BTW, From what I have seen of WHMCS so far, I think it's a great system, and I can't wait to finish getting things set up and start using it. Just need to get over those occasional bumps
