Strip reply quotes in support ticket emails

Hello, sorry if this topic has been posted already.

 

But I'm running a lower version of WHMCS (version 3.5.1 I believe) and I was wondering is there a way to strip out the reply-quotes that are being sent through the Support Ticket system?

 

Very frequently, I get clients that reply to tickets and their automatic quotes in their replies get added to the support ticket. After a few exchanges this can be a huge burden. Because I have to scroll ALLLLL the way down to read replies.

 

Is there a php code or something that I can paste in one of the template files to strip out reply-quotes in the emails?

I think, as you say 'frequently', means it doesn't happen always. I'm the same. I believe there is already coding within WHMCS to do this, but it depends on the email client the customer is using. Thats the only logical reason I can come up with as most times it works fine, but about 15-20% of the time I get customers who reply to tickets and their replies are a mess.

 

If anyone knows of a solution, great. If not, I'm happy to live with it.
