Unable to add new account users (v 9.0.3)

Recommended Posts

Is anyone else experiencing the inability to add users to existing accounts?

The invite gets sent, the receiver click the link and fills out the register details but the User remains pending and the user is told their log in is correct.

It has been working up until the upgrade was done.

For right now, if I have to file a bug report, I would love an way to approve and activate the user with direct SQL commands to the database.

Hi @wtools

Please could you confirm if you have a Recaptcha option enabled within your environment?

The development team is currently working on case WHMCS-25397, where this failure occurs if there is a re-captcha enabled within the WHMCS installation for login fields.

Should the reCAPTCHA be enabled, disabling this for login forms and client registration should then allow clients to register from an invitation.

As soon as this case is resolved, the above ID will be included within the changelogs for the related version release

I hope this helps.

@WHMCS JimmyW it was me that raised this, and submitted the bug report that has prompted your reply here.

You already know that recaptcha was enabled. You were provided access to our install in order to replicate this. The first support technician was unaware of it, but your reply to the ticket said that it was a known issue.

Surely there is a pending maintenance release or hot fixes for many outstanding bugs.  Bugs that have been introduced to already functioning features.
