kelc
Hi everyone, I’m having an issue where the Stripe payment button isn’t showing on the invoice page in WHMCS. Stripe is set up correctly (live API keys, webhook, etc.) Clients are all assigned to “Stripe” as their payment method The invoice is unpaid and has a balance The template is loading correctly (I added debug text to confirm), but {$paymentbutton} is returning empty The invoice just says: “No payment methods are available for this invoice.” I’ve used Stripe in WHMCS before and this was working fine. Does anyone know what might cause WHMCS to not generate the Stripe payment button even when the setup seems correct? Thanks in advance!
Dets1985
If a Stripe payment button isn't appearing on your invoice page despite being assigned as an active payment method, the issue likely lies with either your Stripe payment method settings, the configuration of your invoice branding, or the way your integration is handling the payment process.
Administrators WHMCS John Posted August 27 Administrators Share Posted August 27 Hi @kelc, Are you referring to the invoice in the admin area? From your last bullet point it sounds like the that's the case. This message is displayed when the client doesn't have a Pay Method (eg. Credit card) on file which can be charged. Have the client login to the client area to pay the invoice and they'll have the option to remember the card, which you can use to capture future invoices from the admin.
