Evolve Web Hosting
@Moataz it is controlled through the registrar module itself usually w/ a cron job included to sync dates.

Solution DennisHermannsen Posted October 31 Solution Share Posted October 31 WHMCS "auto-renew" doesn't mean the domain is automatically renewed. It just means that WHMCS automatically issues an invoice for domain renewal for that particular domain. The renew command is then sent when the invoice is paid by the client. Some registrars allow auto-renewal of domains, but as a domain reseller, you probably wouldn't want to enable this feature. It means the domains will be automatically renewed, no matter the status of the WHMCS invoice. So; autorenew in WHMCS just means "automatically create an invoice".
Evolve Web Hosting
@Moataz Contact DomainNameAPI and they should be able to explain further and/or implement the feature(s) you need.

If the invoice gets paid, then typically a Renewal command is sent via registrar module to the registrar, using the registrars provided API.
