Error de comando del módulo You did not pass the “new_password” parameter in your request.

Recommended Posts

I am wanting to change passwords for my clients that I sell hosting plans to, and when I want to change passwords to their cpanel from products/services. In the "Command Module" when "Change Password" I get this message

Module command error You did not pass the “new_password” parameter in your request.

Consider:
I am not I have additional modules
I don't have whmcs themes
My user has all permissions"

Full Administrator

and you have APi created with all permissions, and entered the Key in configuration.php

I have updated and when I want to change I have problems with it

Hi @Leveluperu,

I can't replicate this here in my stock v.8.11.1 instance. I don't see a reason that the cPanel API should be requiring a field called new_password: https://api.docs.cpanel.net/openapi/whm/operation/passwd/

Can you confirm you're using our stock "cPanel" module, and not a different after-market one?

If yes, in order to see the commands being sent/received between WHMCS and the module, the Configuration > System Log >  Module Debug Log tool can be used.
Please enable it, reproduce the problem, disable it again and then copy the data into this ticket reply for us to review.

For more information on using the Module Debug Log, please see: https://docs.whmcs.com/troubleshooting/logs-in-whmcs/

Note: Please remove any sensitive information before sharing the log data here publicly.
