AFFILIATE SYSTEM: does it pay commissions for future orders by the client as well?

I only recently activated the affiliate system in WHMCS and I was wondering if the affiliate system pays out commissions for future purchases of that client or only the initial services that the client ordered.

Hoping someone can answer this for me. ☺️

Only if you assign the order to an affiliate.

So what you're saying is that upon initial signup using an affiliate link, that order will be allocated towards the affiliate for commissions to be paid out.

Any future orders, will not be unless I manually link the order to the affiliate?

Correct. Only the initial order is linked and affiliate commission paid. Subsequent orders are not - unless you link them.

I put a sticky note on each client that was referred by an affiliate so that if they make another order, I link it to the affiliate.
