WHMCS Developer WHMCS Andrew Posted January 30, 2008 WHMCS Developer Share Posted January 30, 2008 Just had a customer signup using Google Checkout. When the payment came through from Google, it's marked the same invoice as paid TWICE (no intervention from me) and it's sent off the registration twice! magga
This happened to me yesterday, 3 domains were registered for one year and then invoice was marked as paid again and as a result, the domains were renewed for another year ! I opened a ticket about it and it seems that for some reason Google Checkout sent the callback more than once. Matt said that he would look into changing to code so that an invoice that has already been paid cannot be marked as paid again and hence not attempt to renew domains that have just been registered. WHMCS Developer WHMCS Andrew Posted January 30, 2008 Author WHMCS Developer Share Posted January 30, 2008 Just noticed it also showed as receiving two payments also in the transactions list for the customer. Had to remove one of those too
magga
Yup, exactly the same thing that happened to me. A word of warning - check the credit on his account because it adds the extra payments (or at least what it thinks are extra payments) on as credit ! WHMCS Developer WHMCS Andrew Posted January 30, 2008 Author WHMCS Developer Share Posted January 30, 2008 Ah, thank you! So Google Checkout does the following! 1) Marks Invoices as paid TWICE! 2) This then generates two transactions 3) This creates a credit amount on the customers account
magga
That's right... along with anything else that happens whenever payment for something is received. Seems like Google Checkout is playing up !
WHMCS Developer WHMCS Andrew Posted January 30, 2008 Author WHMCS Developer Share Posted January 30, 2008 I've had to remove Google Checkout as a payment option for now as I cannot afford this type of thing to happen. Luckily I saw it this time and only 1 customer has paid this way so far!
bear
Interesting. Version 3.4.1 didn't have that issue, at least for me. I had just one Google payment, and it worked correctly here.

bear
Yes and yes. It was a domain only purchase.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted January 30, 2008 WHMCS CEO Share Posted January 30, 2008 The marking paid multiple times is already corrected in 3.6 but will add something to stop the same transaction # being added more than once also. Matt
