jmedinger
Having upgraded to version 8.9.0 when trying to acces a client's Products / Services tab we get the following error message Quote Oops! TheHostingHeroes
I'd recommend download whmcs 8.9 zip file from the whmcs.com client area and reupload via FTP overwiring all files to see if it fixes it.
jmedinger
Having uploaded all new files, backed up the database , I've then visited the install / update URL and get the following message Quote We have detected that you are already running WHMCS version 8.9.0. This installation script can only upgrade as far as 8.9.0. There is no update to perform. The error still exists if we login with the newly uploaded files in place though...
WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted March 21 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted March 21 Hi @jmedinger, This isn't an error we've received other reports about. It could be caused by a customisation specific to your instance of WHMCS. Please can you ensure there are no customisations present on your installation as these can often change the way WHMCS operates. These are typically located in the /includes/hooks and /modules/ directories Once the issue is resolved you can add them back one-by-one until the problem begins again - at which point you have identified the troublesome customisation and can contact the vendor directly for assistance resolving the problem in their code. If the problem persists after that, please open a ticket with technical support so we can access your WHMCS instance and investigate further: https://www.whmcs.com/submit-a-ticket/
jmedinger
We have a vanilla installation of WHMCS - there are no customisations on our version... I'll raise a ticket as you request...

jmedinger
I raised a support ticket to have it looked into and when they visited the site apparently they couldn't replicate the issue and the link was working again
