mfoland Posted March 4 Share Posted March 4 I use the Licensing Addon, and I want to figure out a way to limit Downloads in WHMCS. I'm creating an auto-update script like WHMCS for the software i'm building. I'd like to use something like install.php for the initial download of my software. The conundrum I'm running into is that to prevent download abuse, and to generally have it so they can use the Auto Upgrade Script (since I'm controlling that with a Support & Updates type addon to the License), I can't limit downloads. I know the Last update to the License Addon was in 2012. Does anyone know if something like this could be done with a hook, or should I just create a remote install or download.php add the record the a database table, and go from there?
