Sync
Its great to see WHMCS has finally implemented what is essentially PayPal agreements which has been requested for a very long time. A lot of hosts depend on third party modules which does what the new "vault" does. Can you please ensure there is a easy migration process for those using third party modules with saved agreements already in pay method? Eg. https://marketplace.whmcs.com/product/5623-lcwsoft-paypal-billing-agreements And the old "MyWorks PayPal Billing Agreements" Or anyone testing can try delete the LCW module and migrate existing over to the new module and confirm it works without any changes?
TheHostingHeroes
I am too interested in this. We moved from MyWorks to lcwSoft and it works perfectly, if this could become native to WHMCS along with some kind of migration tool this would be excellent. WHMCS Support Manager WHMCS John Posted March 6 WHMCS Support Manager Share Posted March 6 Hi @Sync, The PayPal Payments module will not take over processing of Billing Agreements created by after-market modules. This is because the payment tokens are not directly interchangeable. In future we plan to make available a one-time conversion tool which will import Billing Agreements in such a way they can be processed by the PayPal Payments module. So stay tuned to https://blog.whmcs.com for more info.

Will it support existing pay methods with agreements like mentioned here?
TheHostingHeroes
Hi This is possible, open a ticket to WHMCS to discuss as I moved from MyWorks>LWSoft in the past then most recently LWSoft > WHMCS Native Integration then removed the LWSoft module.
