FreedomHostUSA
I'm having huge problems with WHMCS and tech support has been absolutely useless, as they just keep telling me that they can't replicate the problem. I've had two clients who have been unable to get past registration, because it keeps telling them "Please choose your country from the drop down box" when the country has already been chosen. I tested it and am getting the same issue. I originally thought it was a Mac problem, but it turns out the latest guy is not using a Mac. So, I went in a tried to add them myself and got this error message: Error: TypeError: Argument 10 passed to WHMCS\User\User::createClient() must be of the type string, null given, called in /home/freedo46/public_html/whmcs/admin/clientsadd.php on line 0 and defined in /home/freedo46/public_html/whmcs/vendor/whmcs/whmcs-foundation/lib/User/User.php:0 Stack trace: #0 /home/freedo46/public_html/whmcs/admin/clientsadd.php(0): WHMCS\User\User->createClient('Sample', 'User', '', 'testing@freedom...', '123 Any St', '', 'Austin', 'Texas', '78749', NULL, '+1.555-555-5555', false, Array, '', true, 0) #1 {main} So, I've been back and forth with tech support for 4 days. They are unable to replicate the problem, so that's that. They have no solution for me because it ends there. It must be me right? Well, it's me and two clients (that I know of) and one who has already decided to take his business elsewhere. I ended up getting on an old PC and was able to add new clients there. However, it's too late for the one costumer, and it remains to be seen if I lost the other too. Now, another issue is... whenever I log in to my admin area, it takes a really long time and I get a "failed login" in my activity report. I have already reinstalled the entire WHMCS and the issue is still occurring. Is anyone else having this problem? Does anyone know what I can do about it? I'm beyond frustrated with WHMCS. I'm using the twenty-one theme Please Help! Heather Webb https://freedomhostusa.com/
FreedomHostUSA
HALLELUJAH! My ticket was escalated to Tech Support 2! Sam fixed all the problems for me by refreshing the 'includes' and 'templates' directories. If you ever run into this problem, tell them to do that and save yourself days of back and forth.
FreedomHostUSA
It's happening again and refreshing the directories doesn't help.
WHMCS Product Manager WHMCS John Posted November 13, 2023 WHMCS Product Manager Share Posted November 13, 2023 Hi @FreedomHostUSA, This appears to be an issue with the visitor's browser autocomplete. Please clear your browser cache/temporary files and try again.
FreedomHostUSA
I'm sorry but that answer is just not good enough. So it's because of some unknown autocomplete issue. How can I tell people to clear their browser cache before trying to sign up? How many customers am I losing who get frustrated and go somewhere else? I get this complaint ALL THE TIME. Please someone look into this and figure out what's going on. I can't run an online business where people can't place online orders. This is ridiculous.
